Radio Officers Association

On returning from Edinburgh Derek Bristow travelled to Liverpool where he was invited to address the Radio Officers Association's AGM on the work of the Federation to date. An excellent location on the Wirral and a warm welcome by the Radio Officers to match the location, made this particular event enjoyable and just the thing to round off an extremely busy period for the Federation.

90th Anniversary of the NFA

Two of our members have been nominated to attend the 90th Anniversary of the NFA to be held at the State Apartments of Buckingham Palace in June this year. They are Mr James Thoburn from Edinburgh and Dr Kenneth Chapman from East Sussex.

News from New Zealand

To end there is more good news this time from our affiliated members in New Zealand. Dave Lark has retired as President and has been give Life Membership for his outstanding work. We send Dave our best wishes and our thanks for his support. We are delighted that the Rev Bill Law is to take over the reins as President and we send our best wishes for his appointment and assure him of our total support and comradeship. Bill has been contacted and invited him to take his place on our Council. Although we appreciate that attendance at meetings is a problem it is the thought that counts and Bill deserves his place as the Head of an affiliated organisation.
